I graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2006 with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy and am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and have completed Pilates training with Stott Pilates and APPI. I am registered with the Health Professionals Council.
I am an experienced musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and have worked with professional; sports teams, amateur athletes and people with day to day injuries or pain such as lower back pain or osteoarthritis.
After having my first child in 2013, I developed an interest in women’s health physiotherapy and undertook extensive training in this area so that I can help support women throughout pregnancy, in the post-natal period and beyond.
I have worked in Ireland, Australia, Liverpool and Singapore before returning to Scotland in 2018. Working overseas allowed me to explore how other cultures deal with pain and injury. Living in Singapore sparked an interest in acupuncture, which led me to train to deliver Western Medical Acupuncture as part of my services. I use acupuncture and dry needling as one option for treating sports and musculoskeletal injuries but also love that it can be used to help with other health conditions such as IBS, migraine and anxiety.
